Safe Centre Project Manager
(secondment opportunity open to existing employees from the 14 West Midlands local authorities and 3 children's trusts)
We are are looking for a project manager to support the regional development of a secure estate.
Secondment opportunity – potentially 3 days per week for 9 months from January 2022 (although there may be some flexibility available)

To co-ordinate the support for the Safe Centre Partnership Board to take forward the work to ‘revisit and refresh’ proposals for a range of services to be developed within the West Midlands for children and young people who may require or be on the threshold of secure care.
To commission and manage the relationship with a support partner who will undertake engagement work within the region and will secure some third party technical input for the project.
To facilitate communication and contact across the partnership and beyond as required
To ensure the project complies with DfE requirements including progress reporting
To support the development of proposals for the follow-on phase of work, if required
Project management and communication skills.
Experience of successful partnership working.
Some knowledge of commissioning/procurement processes
Able to work on own initiative.
